Top 5 PS4 Games for Christmas

The holiday season is right around the corner and everyone is waiting for special deals on games. There are a lot of PS4 titles that have been launched for quite some time and need to have their price cut and a lot of new ones will shortly get released. With this tip in mind it might be worthwhile to keep an eye out for a few games this Christmas as seasonal deals are not that far away. Here are the top 5 games for Christmas.

5. Forza Horizon 2
The newest iteration of the Forza franchise arrives in September on PS4. Forza Horizon 2 has been eagerly awaited by the community due to the bold claims of the developers which focused on online play and a sandbox style city in which real games compete against each other in real time. Running on the newest platform also means that graphics have been toned up and the game feels more massive than ever. We are talking about over 200 cars available for play and tons of action including driving in an open world which literally means everywhere even though a corn field. Destruction and stunts are awarded making driving a much more action oriented experience.

4. FIFA 15
It seems that the FIFA franchise never gets old and the yearly release model used by EA has not damaged the popularity of the game. FIFA 15 has been received well by PS4 owners and for a good reason. The graphics have been pushed so far as to say that the players models have a photorealistic quality. From a gameplay perspective not much has changed and it is difficult to reinvent football but FIFA 15 did earned its spot amongst the top PS4 games that should be on everyone’s gift list.

3. Destiny
While Destiny might not be the kind of game that kids should play it is surely one of the best PS4 titles of the year. The gameplay is nothing spectacular but the loot system and the visuals in Destiny give it an epic tone. Story wise things can be a bit confusing as most gamers complained about how such a stellar game has such a vague and mysterious narrative structure but on the other hand this leaves a lot of space for the developers to fill with DLCs. Destiny is an excellent online game that offers endless hours of grinding for loot, organize raids or get friends to join massive PVP deathmatches.

2. Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes
Marvel Super Heroes is basically Disney Infinity 2 as most might call it. It is an entertaining game created for kids and adults that still feel young. The game stays true to the same formula as the original by delivering an action-adventure sandbox world with plenty of collectables and heroes form the Marvel universe. Everything is presented in a cartoonish art style. The RPG elements give the game that rewarding feel of finding items and exploring the world.

1. The Sims 4
While The Sims 4 does not look all that different when compared to previous iterations the game does offer a much more complex world in which players will play God. The Sims now have much better defined personalities, interact better with each other and seem much more interesting to manipulate. Even if the game is missing some features that were present in Sims 3 the devs have committed to keep expanding the game by adding new items to purchase and various DLCs that will make the game bigger than ever.
